WHAT Is THE BEST WAY TO USE BEARD OIL?

Thick and lush beards in fashion are not the first year. It is a great way to highlight your masculinity and personality. To grow a beard, you do not need much time and knowledge.

But if you want your beard to be stylish, well-groomed and neat, it is impossible to do without daily care.

Among the many arsenals of beard care products, oil holds a special place. It perfectly moisturizes the skin of the face and vegetation, nourishes the hair follicles with nutrients, thereby accelerating their growth.

The beard looks well-groomed, shiny and silky, and a pleasant aroma will be an excellent alternative to the usual perfume.

The composition of oils for beards include oils of plant origin, enriched with vitamins A, D, E, essential oils and plant extracts. The consistency of the oil can be liquid or creamy.

So, there are 2 main types of oil for a beard:

  • Moisturizing and nourishing
  • For hair growth

Oil for beard growth: what is it for?

Most often, the composition of this oil includes a ginger extract and hot red pepper. These components improve metabolism and hair growth, activate the work of “sleeping” bulbs, which leads to the appearance of new hairs.

The beard becomes thicker and more uniform; it grows faster. Also, the use of such oil is essential in problem areas.

And you can not be afraid of the unpleasant sensations from the action of red pepper, they will not because along with it, the components for beard growth necessarily include components that soften and moisturize the skin of the face.

They relieve irritation and itching, which often accompany the initial stage of growing a beard, and heal small wounds. The result of using oil for beard growth is a beautiful, thick beard, the pride of a real man!

Moisturizing and nourishing beard oil

You have a tough, naughty beard, and you want to make it softer? Beard oil comes to the rescue with a moisturizing and nourishing effect.

It is a caring agent, the use of which softens the skin, relieves irritation and peeling, gives the beard a shine, softness and healthy look. Macadamia and jojoba oils are responsible for moisturizing properties.

If we talk about nutritional properties, we advise you to pay attention to castor, sea buckthorn, shea, mustard seed, grape seed, wheat germ, linseed, coconut, almond.

Also, many of these types of oils are antiseptic, wound healing and antifungal, they relieve itching, irritation, and flaking, soothe the skin of the face and even help get rid of acne. Almond oil also protects against UV rays, and jojoba oil adds shine to the beard.

Orange, grapefruit, cedar and pine oil gives the beard a delightful, “masculine” smell that drives all the fair sex crazy.

FIND OUT THE QUANTITY

The thing is you figure out the right amount of oil for your beard. Thickness and length can influence both quantity and frequency.

On average, a full and dry beard needs about 6 drops, which already makes a 30ml bottle last for more than 100 applications! But how do you know the right amount for you?

Size of the Beard Amount
Less than 1 cm 2 to 3 drops
From 1 cm to 5 cm 3 to 6 drops
From 5 cm to 12 cm 6 to 10 drops
Above 12 cm 10 to 12 drops

The table above is a hint of a starting point. Start by following this amount and see if it is enough to make your beard more moisturized.

One tip is to decrease or add a drop to each new application and realize the difference. The cool thing is that it has no right or wrong and the best way to find out is by testing.

SOME APPLICATION TIPS

There are a few ways to apply beard oil, but the one I like the most is this: apply a few drops of oil on the palm of your hand and then rub one hand on the other.

It helps to spread better later, and the friction between the two hands heats the oil better releasing the aroma of the essential oils.

Only after that apply to the beard starting from the skin of the face under the hair to the ends. Distribute the oil throughout the length of the wires, as in this video below.

You can also finish using a comb, preferably wood, which helps to neutralize the static of the wires and controls the volume better.

The Beard Oil creates a protective film on the hair and prevents them from drying out throughout the day. The contact of the oil with the skin under the beard is also essential to prevent the face from drying out. It prevents flaking that looks like dandruff.

So a good time to apply is soon after bathing, preferably after using Beard Shampoo, with skin still warm while pores are more open.

And if you have oily skin like mine, no problem. Just try a slightly smaller amount at first.

Overburden Oil is formulated with Grape Seed Oil which has astringent action and jojoba oil that helps regulate excess oiliness of the skin. It is why it is lighter and has a lower density than other oils.

Some caution: I’ve seen some guys picking up the eyedropper and applying it directly to the beard.

This way of applying is not very short for two reasons: one that is difficult to spread the oil evenly by all the hairs.

And also it can still run down the neck because it is difficult to control the right amount that is applying. But if it works well for you, go deep!

WHAT ABOUT FREQUENCY?

That depends on how much your beard needs moisturizing and protection.

It also depends on the weather. My beard, for example, is well respected and I use the oil twice a day, right after a bath in the morning and late afternoon. But there are those more humid days in which a daily application is enough.

Our oil is made only with natural raw materials of vegetable origin, and they have a lighter essence precisely to not disturb throughout the day (since it is applied very close to the nose) and also not to fight with your favorite perfume. So feel free to try it!

CAN YOU USE IT WITH BALM AND MODELER?

The Balm and the Modeler have different functions, and they can all be used together with the beard oil without a problem if you are going to use the Balm soon after trimming the hairs from the neck, for example, as an aftershave.

Use the Balm first, wait a few moments for it to be absorbed and then apply the oil.

And if you use the Modeler, always use last. That’s because the modeler works as a finisher to hold those more rebellious threads.

In this case, apply a small amount at the fingertips and spread in repeated and constant movements over the area you want to control.

You will see that it controls the volume better with each repetition of this movement. Here you have more details on using it together.

ONE MORE TIP

ONE MORE TIPWas there a little oil left in his hands after applying all over his beard? You can finish applying it on the ends of the hair (especially if you have dry ends) or on the eyebrows to make them more aligned. It works like a beauty.
